Avocado for your skin

Today I want to tell you a bit more about the benefits of avocado for your skin.

Not only is it packed with healthy fats, vitamins, and antioxidants as a tasty fruit, avocados are great for your skin too. Apply the fresh pulp, mixed with yoghurt, on your cleansed skin to moisturize it and reduce acne flare-ups. Wash off after 15 minutes. Avocado pulp can also heal wounds faster. Use avocado oil on your skin after coming back from the sun. It prevents sun damage and reduces suntan. This way, it also prevents skin ageing.

Look at these 7 amazing benefits avocado can bring to your skin:
1. Moisturizes your skin
2. Smooths out wrinkles
3. Protects your skin from the sun
4. Prevents and treats acne
5. Removes suntan
6. Heals wounds
7. Helps with Psoriasis

A fruit? Really? Let's see what the Huffington Post says about it: "You might be inclined to call it a vegetable, thanks to its green hue and savoury taste, but the avocado is technically a fruit, and even more specifically, a single-seeded berry. A fruit is 'the matured ovary of a flower,' according to the University of California Agriculture & Natural Resources." In their article, the Huffington Post states that an avo has more Potassium than a banana; the antioxidants, amino acids and essential oils inside an avocado can help repair damaged hair, moisturize dry skin, treat sunburns and it contains protein.

This really makes me wonder if Avocado could be one of the miracle fruits...
